Cheri has been working as an Addictions Counselor since 2004. She completed her Associate’s degree in Addictions Counseling through Moraine Park Technical College / Phi Theta Kappa in 2004. She continued her education with a Bachelor Degree in Human Services and Education through UW Oshkosh in 2011.
Cheri is a strong believer in client centered therapy. Each client is viewed as unique and has a different path for his or her recovery. She has traveled on her own personal journey in recovery since 1995, which led her to pursue counseling. She is our Lead counselor for our Department of Corrections Programs in Washington and Ozaukee Counties. She has taught in various Wisconsin prison and jail settings and continues outreach there whenever possible. She also teaches Traffic Safety / OWI prevention as an adjunct faculty member for Moraine Park Technical College since 2008.
Cheri is optimistic, passionate and believes change is possible and that everyone deserves a second chance.
