Betsy Grant is both a Licensed Professional Counselor and Substance Abuse Counselor. Betsy completed her undergraduate degree from Marquette University and completed her masters at Concordia University. Betsy has extensive training, education, and experience in mental health, childhood trauma, substance abuse and addiction, gambling addiction, couples counseling, self-empowerment, and life management.
Betsy is known for a warm, relaxed, and comfortable approach to counseling. Betsy is an Integrative Psychotherapist, which means that she utilizes a variety of orientations and therapies, according to the client’s individual needs. Betsy’s approach involves genuine caring, acceptance, and non-judgment. Betsy works with clients from a strengths-based, positive, and affirming perspective. Betsy works with a wide range of issues, including depression, anxiety, other mental health disorders, unresolved emotional issues, self-esteem/self-empowerment, grief and loss, relationship/family concerns, individual counseling for personal and emotional growth, creating more meaning and purpose, in one’s life/living a more fulfilled life, and multiple other issues.
Betsy had a long-term goal to become a therapist and a helping professional, and she considers herself to be blessed to be able to work in a profession that she truly loves and feels passionate about. Betsy also notes that, “I consider it to be such a privilege to be invited into my clients’ inner lives, and to travel the journey with them through healing, change, and self-empowerment.”
