I enjoy working with patients who are suffering from Mood Disorders such as Depression, Bi-Polar, Anxiety and most other mental health problems.
I also enjoy working with patients who have dual Alcohol/Drug Problems and Mental Health Problems. I have experience with patients who are suffering from chronic health problems as well as mood disorders. I have experience working with a wide range of cultural and socioeconomic groups including the LGBTQ community.

I work with adults, teenagers at least 16 years old for individual therapy. I also provide marriage and couples counseling for couples.

I utilize an eclectic approach to therapy which emphasizes evidence based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

My goal is to empower patients to improve the quality of their lives.

I graduated from Concordia University in Wisconsin with a Bachelors Degree in Lutheran Pastoral Ministry and Social Sciences in 1982.  I completed my Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor Training at De Paul Rehabilitation Hospital in Milwaukee, WI from 1982-1983. I obtained my AODA Counselor Certification.
I worked as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor at De Paul Hospital from 1983-1985 and at Milwaukee Psychiatric Hospital from 1985-1987.
I graduated from California Institute of Integral Studies with a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology in 1989. I graduated from California School of Professional Psychology San Diego with a Masters in Clinical Psychology in 1994.
I became licensed in California as LMFT, licensed marriage and family therapist in 1994. I also became licensed an LCSW, licensed clinical social worker in Wisconsin.
I have been practicing mental health counseling since 1989 in various medical hospitals, psychiatric hospitals and outpatient clinics.
