Catalina is a bilingual licensed professional counselor who provides mental health and substance use services in English and Spanish. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Wisconsin and is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Maryland. Catalina completed her master’s degree in Professional Counseling at Concordia University Wisconsin and earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from University of Wisconsin–Parkside. She offers telehealth services for clients ages 10 and older.

Catalina works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use concerns. Additionally, she also supports those with chronic pain, anger management difficulties, relationship challenges, and life transitions. She offers counseling through a collaborative, supportive approach that helps clients feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout the therapeutic process.

Catalina views therapy as a team-based process. In this setting, clients can openly explore challenges, develop coping skills, and work toward meaningful change in a safe, nonjudgmental environment. Her counseling style is warm, person-centered, trauma-informed, and strengths-based. She believes each client’s experiences, goals, and personal strengths play an important role in healing.

Clinically, Catalina uses evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE). She collaborates with clients to process difficult experiences, strengthen emotional wellness, and build healthier coping strategies.

Catalina understands that starting therapy can feel overwhelming. She recognizes the courage it takes to seek support and strives to create a welcoming environment where clients feel safe navigating life’s challenges while working toward healing and personal growth.
