Holly Greene, CSAC • Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor

Alarus services: Mental health counseling, substance abuse counseling, behavioral health services, medication-assisted treatment. Offering counseling services in West Bend, Washington County, Wisconsin.

I am a Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) specializing in early recovery and, additionally, in helping clients strengthen coping skills to maintain sobriety. My work is trauma-sensitive and, moreover, grounded in evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness, along with other therapeutic modalities.

Philosophy

My practice emphasizes a collaborative, compassionate process for setting treatment needs and goals. Together, we focus on stabilizing early recovery and, consequently, on developing actionable strategies to manage stress, triggers, cravings, and unhelpful thoughts or behaviors. Treatment addresses the whole person, and therefore creates a personalized plan to build self-care habits and foster a meaningful, sustainable life in recovery.

Experience and Education

  • 9+ years of experience in addiction counseling.
  • Help clients complete driver safety plans, TAD programs (treatment alternative and diversion), and Drug Treatment Court (DTC).
