Mental health counseling, substance abuse counseling for IOP and Day Treatment, behavioral health services, medication-assisted treatment.
When substance use spins out of control, you may need more help. At that point, higher levels of treatment become necessary. Options include hospitalization or residential programs that sometimes last months. However, alternatives also exist. Alarus offers Intensive Outpatient Treatment (IOP) lasting 12 hours per week. We also offer Day Treatment lasting 16 hours per week. Both programs run at our site in an outpatient setting. Therefore, you can maintain your current living situation. In many cases, you may even continue working during treatment.
Clients in these programs tend to do well because they receive more support. One advantage of IOP and Day Treatment is maintaining normal life and responsibilities. At the same time, clients get the higher level of care they need. What’s more, most health insurances cover IOP and Day Treatment services. Additionally, Alarus participates in most insurance networks.
Conversely, after residential or hospital care, people often still need ongoing treatment. That is where our IOP and Day Treatment programs fit in. We provide support, care, and practical tools to help you regain your life. After completing IOP or Day Treatment, we step you down to outpatient care. That step reduces weekly treatment with the goal of graduating you from our programs. Alarus treats you as more than substance use; we assess your whole life. Specifically, we consider emotional, developmental, physical, and psychological effects. We also examine impacts on family, social life, and career.
