Katie Liaromatis, Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor

Katherine (Katie) brings over a decade of experience in the addiction field. She earned her AODA degree from MPTC in Fond du Lac, WI, and plans to return to college to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Social Work. In addition to working at Alarus Healthcare’s Beaver Dam location, Katie earned a Recovery Coach certificate and subsequently trained recovery coaches across Wisconsin for Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery (CCAR). She has also volunteered many hours and worked alongside organizations such as Stop Heroin Now, Rise Together, Project Semicolon, and Wisconsin Siblings United.

Because she wants to educate others about the disease of addiction and reduce related stigma, Katie brings passion and purpose to her work. Consequently, her counseling centers on meeting clients where they are, using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and exploring alternative healing pathways. She also prioritizes building trust and creating a safe, nonjudgmental environment.

To schedule an appointment with Katie, please call our Beaver Dam office at 920-219-4440 or email info@alarushealthcare.com. You may also begin with our online referral form.
