As a licensed clinical psychologist, Dr. Laura Brewer approaches her clinical work with expertise and 28 years of experience in the mental health field. Consequently, clients find Dr. Brewer easy to relate to and comfortable to work with. Dr. Brewer provides individual psychotherapy to a broad adult client base, ages 18 and up. Her areas of special interest include mood and anxiety disorders, anger management, sexual orientation and women’s issues, trauma, loss, aging, and life transitions. In addition, she has extensive experience working with clients who have schizophrenia and other psychotic disorders.

Additionally, she focuses on personal strengths to foster growth, and she helps clients gain insight and deeper self-understanding to create more fulfilled lives.
Dr. Brewer earned her bachelor’s degree from Marquette University, and subsequently completed her master’s and doctorate degrees at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology.
