Miranda Woods, SACIT • Substance abuse counselor in training.

Alarus services: Mental health counseling, substance abuse counseling, behavioral health services, medication-assisted treatment. Offering counseling services in Beaver Dam, Dodge County, Wisconsin.

Miranda is a devoted mother, substance use counselor, and certified life coach. Moreover, she has a deep passion for healing, growth, and human connection. With nearly eight years of lived sobriety, she brings both professional expertise and authentic understanding. Consequently, she meets people where they are, without judgment and with genuine compassion.

For more than sixteen years, Miranda served in caregiving roles supporting individuals with developmental disabilities. In addition, she supported people with mental health challenges and substance use disorders. That hands-on experience, therefore, shaped her trauma-informed, person-centered approach. Consequently, she developed this approach long before formally becoming a substance use counselor.

Her work rests on empathy, accountability, and a belief in lasting change. Accordingly, she believes change happens when people feel seen, supported, and empowered. As a certified life coach and counselor, she blends evidence-based practices with mindset work. Furthermore, she focuses on resilience-building and practical tools for sustainable recovery.

Clients describe her as calm, intuitive, and deeply connected. Similarly, she helps clients rediscover strengths and rewrite limiting narratives. She then guides them to move forward with clarity and purpose. Ultimately, Miranda’s work is more than a profession; it is a calling rooted in lived experience and integrity. Therefore, she remains committed to helping others build lives they can be proud of.
