Alarus collaborates with many resources to obtain MAT for patients to treat all addictions, in addition to providing treatment with buprenorphine (Suboxone and Vivitrol ) also treating depression, anxiety, PTSD and lack of energy that often accompany Opiate Dependence. Must be attending regular counseling session to qualify.
Dr. Colleen Worth has worked in the nursing profession for 20+ years serving various positions throughout her nursing career including Home Health Care, Cardiopulmonary, Wound, Ostomy, Continence Specialty, Occupational and Employee Health, Academia, and Mental Health Care.
Dr. Worth graduated from Cardinal Stritch University in 2007 with an Associate Degree in Nursing, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Kaplan University in 2010, Master of Science in Nursing from Concordia in 2014, and Doctor of Nursing Practice from Capella University in 2019. Dr. Worth is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and has been working as an Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber since 2014. While advancing her career and education, she recognized the gap in mental health care treatment and services and developed a passion for helping individuals with mental health and substance use disorders. Dr. Worth is currently seeking a post-masters certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner through Herzing University.
Dr. Worth provides quality, compassionate, and comprehensive mental health services to children, adolescents and adults aged 6 years and older. She possesses strong clinical skills enhanced by natural ability to build rapport with patients and families. She follows evidence-based guidelines blended with clinical experience, personal observation, and intuition. She values collaboration and a patient centered approach to health and healthcare. She brings compassion and empathy, with an easy-going communication style, and delightful sense of humor, making communication with patients and family members effortless in a calm, relaxed, comfortable, safe environment.
Dr. Worth provides medication management for the treatment of Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, and substance use disorders.
