Additionally Offered Services
- All appointments (with the exception of intake appointments) can be offered via telehealth services. Our office utilizes RingCentral video conference software, which is similar to Zoom. If you have a telehealth appointment, you will receive an email that has a link to your RingCentral meeting approximately 5-10 minutes prior to your appointment start time from your clinician.
- NEW! Alarus proudly partners with Alay Health Team to provide psychiatric medications and vivitrol prescriptions, paralleled with regular counseling sessions. Referrals are made as needed by your clinician.
Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (E.M.D.R.) Therapy
EMDR uses rapid eye movements (REM) or other bilateral movements to aid in the processing of negative events or experiences (these eye movements are similar to REM sleep patterns). Much of our healing processes (mental, physical, take place during sleep). EMDR uses this natural process to aid in healing and modifying the response to these events.
- EMDR Therapy is offered by Shannon Radl at our West Bend office.
Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) for Opioid, Heroin, and Alcohol Addiction
Alarus collaborates with many resources to obtain MAT for patients, including Avvidus. As head of Avvidus, Dr. Karwacki is Board Certified in Addiction Medicine through the American Board of Medical Specialties. He is credentialed to treat all addictions, and specializes in treating Opiate Dependence.
