Alarus collaborates with many resources to obtain MAT for patients to treat all addictions, in addition to providing treatment with buprenorphine (Suboxone and Vivitrol ) also treating depression, anxiety, PTSD and lack of energy that often accompany Opiate Dependence. Clients receiving medication prescriptions must be attending regular counseling sessions to qualify. Mental health counseling, substance abuse counseling, behavioral health services, medication assisted treatment.

Dr. Colleen Worth has worked in nursing for over 20 years. During that time, she has held roles in home health care, cardiopulmonary, wound and ostomy, continence specialty, occupational and employee health, academia, and mental health care.

Colleen earned an Associate Degree in Nursing from Cardinal Stritch University in 2007. Subsequently, she received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Kaplan University in 2010. She then completed a Master of Science in Nursing at Concordia in 2014. Furthermore, Dr. Worth earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Capella University in 2019. She is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner and has worked as an Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber since 2014. While advancing her education and career, she noticed gaps in mental health care and therefore developed a passion for helping people with mental health and substance use disorders. Currently, Dr. Worth is pursuing a post-master’s certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner through Herzing University.

Dr. Worth provides compassionate, comprehensive mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults aged six and older. Moreover, she combines strong clinical skills with a natural ability to build rapport with patients and families. She follows evidence-based guidelines blended with clinical experience, observation, and intuition. Additionally, Dr. Worth values collaboration and a patient-centered approach to health care. She brings compassion and empathy, an easygoing communication style, and a warm sense of humor. As a result, communication with patients and families feels calm, relaxed, comfortable, and safe.

Colleen Worth, APNP provides medication management for the treatment of Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, and substance use disorders.
